Accessory Guide
With a Small Accessory Applicator, you have the freedom to select accessories to add to your dinosaur by drawing them directly on their import yourself!
You can obtain this item thru crafting! A few things to note about accessories:
|
Accessory Design Rules
- You may only add 1 accessory per applicator, for a maximum of 3 per character
- Accessories must be small; roughly 15% of the import
- You cannot "split" an accessory, such as a piece of rope, and place it on different parts of the body unless you have multiple applicators. This said, accessories on limbs such as hands or feet may be "mirrored" to the other limb without needing another applicator (i.e. an accessory on the right hand can be mirrored to the left hand)
- Accessories must be semi-realistic. While our ARPG's dinosaurs are anthropomorphized and may be able to acquire and wear accessories, they are still limited by their anatomy and by what can be found on the islands
- Body modifications, piercings, and body paint are not permitted accessories
- Accessories drawn on imports must strive to match the art style of the imports. While some divergence from the style is acceptable, accessory art that looks too different may be rejected until adjusted
- Accessories may not be shaded on imports
- If you add an accessory that covers something important on your import, such as the eyes or dimorphic marking, you may be required to attach a version of the import without accessories
- Accessories must be PG-13. Accessories with sexual or otherwise inappropriate themes will not be accepted
- Remember that you may not mimic copyrighted characters or the likeness of real people with your dinosaurs. This includes with accessories
Accessory Options
Accessories can be just about anything you want! However, items must be something that can realistically be equipped; accessories which are complex human designs/technology, or otherwise impossible for the dinosaurs to realistically wear may be rejected.
Size also matters! If using an human-made item, remember its scale compared to your dinosaur; i.e. a human-sized hat will look smaller on a Sucho compared to on an Atopo!
